If you had to "label" his music, you might be reminded of
Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Lucinda Williams or Little Feat with some Don Henley and Miles Davis thrown in.
As Steve splits his time between Toronto and Niagara-On-The-Lake, he has been
dubiously dubbed the "fringe local". These days, in between Steve's Niagara Rhythm Section and other freelance gigs and studio work, he and his band, the Fringe Locals, can
occasionaly be found performing in the Niagara & Toronto regions.
The personnel has
settled into a "collective" of players which varies slightly from gig to gig.
The arrangements vary from night to night, exuding a fresh "jam-band" adventure with each show.
The Fringe Locals have released four indie CD's to date.
